Happy Veteran's Day!

Two years ago, yesterday, Ryan came home from Iraq on his second deployment. This is what Veteran's Day means for us...

A HUGE thank you goes out to all veterans, past and present. And especially to those who stand in harm's way today. Thank you to their families. You are in our prayers as much as the soldiers.

I am thankful for the experiences I have had to be a part of the Army family.

First to fight for the right,
And to build the Nation’s might,
And The Army Goes Rolling Along.
Proud of all we have done,
Fighting till the battle’s won,
And the Army Goes Rolling Along.

Then it’s hi! hi! hey!
The Army’s on its way.
Count off the cadence loud and strong;
For where’er we go,
You will always know
That The Army Goes Rolling Along!

Happy Veteran's Day!

AND-- Happy Birthday Mom!!!

Wow, was that just 2 years ago!? A lot has happened since then eh? What a great memory. What a great family! How fun to see Jeaneice there too. And now it's Blaine sitting over in Baghdad!

You do need to meet Ryan Jordan. He's a terrific guy!

Thanks for the post Anna!
